After two decades as a public school special educator, I stepped away from the classroom to create something more aligned with how children truly learn-- through real hands-on experiences, personalized lessons, connection, and care.  

Our story begins on Jerry Dell Farm, a third-generation organic dairy in the Finger Lakes, where my husband's family has provided local milk for decades. When my husband Trever founded Ithaca Organics in 1997,  he expanded his family's legacy to offer USDA certified organic produce and hemp products, sold through our weekly CSA, at the Ithaca Farmers Market, and local stores.

Now, I've created Acknowledge Him Farm and Learning Center, an alternative learning space where kids, animals, and nature come together. Rooted in hands-on experiences and the belief that every  child deserves to be seen and celebrated, our farm blends education with daily life. Horses, chicken, gardens, and mud puddles become tools for growth as our children learn alongside us.
